Jeff Englert

Scope of Experience

Jeff is Senior Vice President and Managing Partner with NAI Martens, specializing in multifamily and investment properties. He is the leader on the multifamily team and holds over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Jeff, Nathan Farha and Trent Garman have brokered the highest number of multifamily transactions in our company’s history and more units than any other Wichita broker in recent years, over 6,000 units sold totaling over $300,000,000.

Nathan Farha, CCIM

Scope of Experience

Nathan has been a part of the Martens Companies for over 17 years, starting as an appraisal assistant while a senior in college at Wichita State University. He then moved into the brokerage department as a Brokerage Assistant working his way to his current position as a Senior Vice President and shareholder of NAI Martens. Nathan’s vast amount of local and national relationships has established him as one of the top multifamily brokers in Kansas. Nathan, along with NAIM multifamily brokers Jeff Englert & Trent Garman, have brokered the highest number of multifamily transactions in our company’s history and more units than any other Wichita brokerage firm in recent years with more than 6,000 units sold and transacting over $300 million in sales.

Trent Garman

Scope of Experience

Trent is a Commercial Advisor with NAI Martens where he began his career in 2016 after graduating from Newman University. Trent focuses his time working on investment real estate, specializing in multi-family sales with his partners Jeff Englert and Nathan Farha. The multifamily team has brokered the highest number of multifamily transactions in Wichita with over 6,000 units sold totaling over $300,000,000 in volume.

Carla Sandwell

Scope of Experience

Carla brings over 25 years of experience of working in commercial real estate to the NAI Martens Multifamily Team. She began her administrative career with one of Wichita’s top financial institutions as an Executive Commercial Loans Assistant to a senior vice president and vice president of commercial lending. Carla’s team worked with Wichita’s top entrepreneurs. After five years with her team, she moved to Springfield to begin a family. Over the next several years, Carla worked for a couple of locally owned banks also focusing on commercial lending. Deciding to take a different journey in commercial real estate, Carla became an Assistant for a well-known multifamily developer and owner of over 55 properties across Missouri. She served as his right-hand for all his development projects and personal hobbies. In January 2019, Jeff and Nathan brought Carla back to her hometown to join them as their first ever Assistant. As their Assistant, she plays an important part of the multifamily team by drafting contracts and lease agreements, analyzing multifamily financials, coordinating transactions, touring properties, assisting in their development projects, and many other behind the scenes tasks. Carla is a proud Navy mom who enjoys volunteering, gardening, traveling to see her three (now grown) kids, spending time with friends and family, and advocating for the humane care of pets. She has a little dog named Lucy and two cats known as Chi and Tee (or “the boys”). All rescued Carla.
